In the Department of Economic Sociology at the Faculty of Economics, Business and Statistics a position of a Research Associate (post doc) will be filled by March 1st, 2021. The position is limited to a four-year period. The position holder is expected to develop an own research program in economic sociology including the acquisition of external funds and to contribute to ongoing projects in the department.
Economic sociology is an area in sociology which addresses economic phenomena in societal context.
Your tasks will encompass research assistance, teaching (according to the regulations of the collective agreement) and administration in the Department of Economic Sociology. Doctorate / PhD in sociology We expect a firm understanding of the collection and analysis of survey data and relevant statistical techniques which is proven by publications in established, peer-reviewed journals. A pertinent teaching record and international experience are an advantage. Teaching will be in courses regularly offered by the Department.
